Barrier® S UV systems are low pressure lamp based disinfection systems. With these units, Evoqua Water Technologies completes its range of medium and low pressure lamp based UV systems. All components of the Barrier S system are of the highest quality including, the UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic lamp power supplies, sensors and finally the control unit.

The Barrier S system offers optimised hydraulics which enable a low headloss. The optimised UV lamp positioning ensures that a high disinfection efficiency is achieved. Furthermore, it has a low energy consumption and low operational costs.
The Barrier S system is certified for the disinfection of potable water. User-friendly electronic controls provide a reliable operation system while several pre-alarm and alarm options inform the operator if the system is not functioning as required. Data logger functionality as well as an event memory are integrated for further benefit.

The Barrier S systems are easy to service and can be installed with little piping effort in both horizontal and vertical positions. Single lamp units have a Z-shape and multi-lamp units have the U-shape chamber design. If required, UV lamps and quartz sleeves can be changed easily.
