Application
The LR81 general purpose, intrinsically safe or dust-proof by enclosure 80 GHz radar level sensor transmitter provides continuous level measurement up to 98.4' (30m) for liquids and 49.2' (15m) for solids, with 4-20 mA with HART, Modbus or SDI-12 signal outputs. The sensor is wirelessly configured via Bluetooth using the LevelTap™ App, enabling users to view level readings, verify device status and manage settings from the safety of the ground or a nearby catwalk. The LR81 is designed to measure liquids and solids with a dielectric constant of ≥ 1.6, including water, chemicals, petroleum-based liquids, pellets, grain, powders and aggregate solids. It is ideally suited for tanks, sumps, lift stations, weirs, canals, reservoirs, silos, bins, conveyors, transfer stations and stockpile applications.
